Knutsford is an historic, picturesque town surrounded by charming Cheshire countryside.
At North West Knutsford we want to create a place where people live, work, shop and socialise together, which will integrate with neighbouring communities and where residents can be proud of.
The Crown Estate owns land at Northwich Road and Manchester Road in Knutsford. We are proposing residential development and a 7.5 hectare business park to help meet local housing and employment requirements.
These sites have both been identified by Cheshire East Council for development within their emerging Local Plan.
Our history can be traced back to 1066. In the 21st century, we are a successful, commercial enterprise, established as a market leader in our key sectors and known for a progressive, sustainable approach that creates long term value, beyond its financial return.
Across our rural land portfolio, one of our core activities involves promoting development opportunities which help meet local housing needs. In the last year, we have secured planning permission for over 7000 new homes across the UK. Our property portfolio spans from Regent Street & St James in London’s West End to the UK’s seabed, regional retail parks and rural land.
At North West Knutsford we want to create good quality homes and employment space for local jobs.
